Iranian gas for India in 2011
Iran: India should receive gas from Iran via the $7.4bn pipeline, which will also pass through Pakistan, by 2011, reported the AFP citing an Iranian energy official. Ghanimi Fard, the Iranian Oil Ministry's special representative at talks in New Delhi between Iran, India and Pakistan, said physical work on the pipeline was now about 18% complete. The 2,600 kilometre long pipeline will initially carry 60m cubic metres of gas per day. [AMEInfo.com]
