iSuppli Report Hints at Pre Pricing, Palm Profit

Palm has been playing coy, holding back any definitive details about time or money -- specifically, release dates or pricing figures -- regarding the Pre, the new smartphone it's promised to deliver in the first half of 2009. A new report from analyst firm iSuppli, however, could shed some light on the Pre's price as it relates to buyers and to Palm's own bottom line. Though unconfirmed by the company, reports suggest that the Palm Pre could well debut at $300 after rebates.
